Does anyone feel awful the day of their mtx and the day after and also suffer with an upset stomach, most of the time I feel terrible and rundown.

I also struggle for a couple of days after taking methotrexate. I do try drinking more water as recommended, I don't have an upset stomach but do have awful nausea. I hope you feel better soon.☺

Are any of you on injections, cause the feeling sick I found is better than on tablets with injections. When I was on tablets I had never felt so ill,always throwing up. I have been on injects for over 2years. Just a thought.

I am on mtx injections which has made a difference, as when I was on tablets I suffered side effect to my stomach, because of the tablets

I started on injections from the first 9 years ago. I had nausea taking medications by mouth but I don't have any problems with injections.

Hi,

I take injections and still get nausea/ upset stomach- but it's better than with the tablets. Exhaustion comes with it as well. It does get better with time though. Maybe talk to your rheumy? X

The exhausting never goes away for me. I find it so hard being tired all the time and going to work too.
