Good for mind, body, and soul. It's the only place I don't actually feel any pain. Brilliant swimming side by side with the dog. Need to swim every day really.

Sounds great. Lovely dog. I've been sea swimming lately and I love it. As you say no pain and so invigorating . Makes you hungry though!

Haha yeah...just came home and ate four rice cakes with humous, and a big bowl of veggie mash! I'd eat a whole victoria sandwich if I could...:-)

What is a victoria sandwich? I never heard of that before.

in reply to Nettac

Oh my, I just googled Victoria sandwich...yummy

I assumed it had lettuce & tomatoes lol...You Brits have away with making sugary, strawberry, whip cream on a sponge cake sound healthy. :)

Yes, I too love swiming in the ocean!!!

Oh dear, I'm in a shed load of pain now! I feel totally wiped out. I'd feel so much better if I was a mermaid! I'm not meant for dry land :-[:-[

Hello Nettac,

I just wanted to say be very careful of the under currents in any rivers, don't assume all is calm as it looks on the surface.

I've had cause to help rescue two people to date. The undercurrents are extremely strong and quickly drag you down.

Sorry to be a wet blanket but there's not always a sign saying danger.

Thsnk you.

It's a spot much used by locals. That's not to say something can't happen! But to date, all fine.

What about the raisins, are they as easy to find as the currents and they are a lot more dangerous , be warned,..... lol, be careful.
