I'm on my third week of this drug. No rash. The leaflet does say report to doc any rashes. I'd get it checked out.

HI, I'm on about week 6 10mg LEF and no skin rash. A small appetite appears to be the main side effect for me.

And report this to your health professional.

Got an appointment with my consultant on 9th Jan. Rheumy thinks its not the drug, so we will see.

They never think it's the drug then you Google and 300000 people report the same issue. Having said this, I've not googled the eczema as I have psoriatic arthritis and thought it may be psoriasis

Seems there are a few newbies to LEF, 5th week for me (10mg). A little hair loss & increase in blood pressure for me but no sign of any eczema, no more than little patches I always have anyhow. Something to mention at your next Rheumy appointment scorpiojack or your GP if it's really concerning you, though they mostly tend not to know a great deal about DMARDs but you could always ask.

Hello! I've been on 10 mg lef since August. I've developed a rash - looks like eczema or contact dermatitis - on my hands. Never suffered from this before, so it may be this drug.

Only other side effect I have is lack of appetite and subsequent weight loss - about 10% of my body weight. (I don't need to lose either)

Yeah I can understand the weight loss. I could go all day sometimes without eating-as I'm not real hungry, but I make myself have something healthy.

You need to tell your rheumatologist.

Take photos of your rash and keep notes on where it's situated.

Might be drug related but equally could be arthritis related.
