I have developed hives and itching. Had anyone else discontinued MTX while on Humira? Stopped MRS and gives went away.

Did you mean that you stopped the methotrexate and the hives went away? If so, it sounds more than likely you have developed an allergy to either the methotrexate or to one of the things in it. Are you on the tablets? If so it might be worth swopping onto the injections.

I was taken off methotrexate last march as they found i had drug induced fibrosis of the lung, typical go to hospital for one thing come away with something else, anyway i used to itch like mad but since coming off methotrexate no itching , am now been put on a new drug 'STELARA' only had two injections so too early to tell if this will help my pa, i have found reaction on many websites concerning methotrexate to be very negative , everyone should check with docs to see what side effects you may get, methotrexate is a very powerful drug Treat with caution.
