Benapali

Can anyone give me any information as what to expect on Benapali. After having a very bad time on Cimzia I'm very scared to take Benapali. Anybody have side effects if so what . Anybody gain weight on this. Heard that to inject this is very painful any advise gratefully received.

Hi I can only praise it after failing on 3 dmards mtx, sulfazalasine and hydroxocloroquine this has been my life saver and I've been on it for 2 months now and although I still take mtx with it I get no problems with it and it's helped me get to near normal again

I have no problems at all with Benepali. No side effects, and would you belive the injection is painless? The pen is far better than the humira or enbrel pen.

I'm about to start Benepali in three weeks once my stock of Enbrel runs out.

I've been told that it's a less painful injection compared to Enbrel which certainly stings a bit.

I really wouldn't be worried, after my own experience of Etanercept which is the active ingredient in both Enbrel and Benepali I have had no side effects whatsoever. It's kind on my very drug sensitive liver and I now have a normal CRP result every eight weeks.

I have been on Benepali since June and so far it's been brilliant. Don't have to take any pain killers or anything. I find it does sting but rather that for a few seconds than sore wrists,hands and elbows. No side effects either. Also on methotrexate.
