Hi I believe lots of people are born with hole in the heart and some don't affect them at all.
If you don't feel the meds are helping then you should chat with the Rheumy team about your pai, take pictures if you can of any swelling . The consultant will know which drugs will be safe for you xxx
Hope you feel much better very soon X

Thank you .I was wondering if haven a whole would stop me from getting the right meds for my rheumatoid arthritis.
Don't worry the consultants do talk to each other so just see what they say. Best of luck xx
Hi
I was diagnosed with seropositive RA 3 yrs ago and i thought that life would never be the same again but once the consultant got the meds right this condition has been so much easier to live with i still have good days and bad but i find the best form of support is from family although the medical pros are very good in most cases and since joining this site i have learned so much more by talking to people who suffer the same conditions and they understand more than anyone, Hope everything works out for you and good luck.
I was diagnosed with seropostive RA earlier in the year. I continue to have problems but it's early days.
I find this group extremely helpful and keeps me sane.
I also realise there are people with RA far worse than I am
Have a lovely day
I'm off to work
