NRAS Group Meetings—Week Commencing 15th August 2016

Medway NRAS Group

Future meetings of the Medway NRAS Group are taking place in the Blue Room at Gillingham Methodist Church, 100 Third Avenue, Gillingham, Kent, ME7 2LU (unfortunately, there is no car park but on street parking close by is available) bi-monthly on a Monday from 7pm-9pm.

15th August - George Sapiets from CiLK (Centre for independent Living in Kent) will be hosting a disability forum exploring what problems those living with RA face.

Thanet NRAS Group

Please note NEW venue and meeting day for the Thanet NRAS Group with effect from their August meeting at The Windmill (public house) in the ground floor meeting room, 45 Newington Road, Ramsgate CT12 6EW on a Wednesday from 6:45pm-8:15pm:

17th August - A seated exercise session and talking about the benefits of exercise

Pembury & Tunbridge Wells NRAS Group

Rheumatology Nurse Janie Langridge and NRAS Volunteer Members co-ordinate this group and hold their bi-monthly meetings at Langton Green Village Hall, Speldhurst Road, TN3 0JJ on a Thursday from 2:00pm to 4:00pm. Donations of £1 appreciated.

18th August - Guest speaker Dr. O. Warr will speak about Hypermobility

Plymouth NRAS Group

Phil and Rika co-ordinate this group and call themselves PADRAGS (Plymouth & District Rheumatoid Arthritis Group Support). The group meet monthly on a Thursday in the Health Education Room at Mount Gould Hospital, Plymouth PL4 7QD from 12-2pm.

August 18th - Conn O'Neill from NRAS will do an update on the Policy and Public Affairs work NRAS are currently doing

Yeovil NRAS Group

COFFEE MORNINGS – These will still be held at Palmers Garden Centre Cafe, Yeovil, BA20 2FH on the 3rd Thursday of alternate months starting 18th February between 10.30am and 12pm. 2016 dates are – 18th August, 20th October and 15th December. Hope to see you there.

You, your family, friends and healthcare professionals are all very welcome to attend and you don’t have to be a member of NRAS to attend a group meeting!
