I'm not sure if this helps, I was given an 'unlicensed' treatment of botox. The consultant believed the pain was caused by the clenching (due to pain) and to relax the jaw may help. The arthritis in my jaw was wear and tear not due to inflammation of RA.

That was 2 years ago and it worked wonders for me! Some odd side effects at first but worth it 😁
