Hello everyone.

I have been in Spain for the first time ever since last Wednesday and apart from my left knee I have been very comfortable pain wise until yesterday when I fell and broke a bone in my hip now the pain is back with a vengeance.

In hospital possibly for one week but no op I don't think so some good news.

Hope everyone is Ok. Delia. Xxx

That's a big ouch, what were you doing to break your Hip? I wish you a speedy recovery, by the way can I come over and have what's left of your holiday lol.

Keep positive and best of British to you.

Oh no! That's not meant to happen on your hols Delia. Well, I suppose as long as you're comfortable & being well cared for there's not much more you can ask is there? One positive is if you're having anything like the care I received under the healthcare system there then you'll be ok. If they consider there's no op needed have they suggested anything otherwise?

As a matter of interest which theme park were you visiting? I hope you'll be comfortable on the flight home. x

Hello NMH.

The staff are very pleasant and I am being well cared for.

At the moment bed rest and regular pain relief and tomorrow they are sitting me out.

My family went home today so a bit upsetting however my eldest daughter is coming back on Friday and my granddaughter and her boyfriend who live here are taking over until she arrives.

I cannot go home until after next Monday.

We was going to Forterventurer ( sorry about the spelling) which was opposite our hotel.

I have to go home on a stretcher in an air ambulance so they will make sure I am comfortable.

Lots of love and hope you are Ok.

Delia. X

That's a pity, I know they can't be with you all the time but so, once they've gone it's not the same but as long as you're being looked after & your pain relief is topped up that's all you can do. Good that your granddaughter is there & you've just another day til your eldest daughter arrives. Will she be able to be with you on your flight home? I know they're pushed for space on air ambulances, it could depend on insurance & if medics accompany you so not sure.

I hope you're not bored silly, drop me pm if it will help to break the day up.

I think it may be Portaventura, up Barcelona way? You'll have to arrange another holiday once you're back on form. Such a shame when these things happen, holidays are special aren't they.

You take care, drop a line to know you're ok. I'm much better thank you. x

Hello.

Yes she will return with me it appears I can fly business class now but it changes by the day.

No not bored I'm sharing a room with an English lady who lives here she fell and broke her hip and she has taught me the basics in Spanish and so its passing the time.

Yes you may have the right place first time here so I'm not sure.

It was a shame especially as it was my first time abroad and we was having such a nice time.

You are very kind thank you very much.

I will keep you posted.

Well let's hope it stands at business class, she'll be able to travel with you I would think but as long as you're comfortable & have a direct flight they're the main things. We've had experience of both & business class was far better.

That's nice you're in with another English lady & you've found a great way to pass the time! That's so unfair ending up in hospital, even more so with it being your first time but certainly a conversation opener, how many can say that?!

Well I hope when you're seen back here they're satisfied with how you've been treated & it's a smooth transition. Abrasos suaves y un beso ((x))
