Can any one tell me if the these symptoms are to do with RA or PsA,
I have had mouth ulcers (now gone) very dry cough so much so sometimes I cannot get my breath when doing this , very tired it is worse at night. I am going to Drs on Friday to see but wondered if anyone else with RA has it?
Hi linda-5502, please see my post on hoarseness and RA. 50%of RAers will have hoarseness and dry cough because of the hoarseness.
I have that problem, but it began with FMS and got worse with RA.
Do you still have it or did Rheumy find something to get rid of it ????
I have never thought to ask about it. I am used to the problem.
Are you taking methotrexate?? this can be a significant side effect or blood pressure medication Ramipril...I am pharmacy qualified
Not now I have been on Sulfasalazine and Leflunamide since January. I see that Leflunamide can give you these symptoms ??? I went to GP today and he is referring me to ENT at hospital.Thank you so much for your reply Methantrexate gave me breathing problems and all x-rays have come back all fine. thus disease is mind blowing at times !!!
Methotrexate and lefumonide can both cause cough as can blood pressure medications such as Ramipril.. the cough could be historical from the methotrexate, or from the lefunomide.. Methotrexate can cause a rare lung problem often presenting as a dry cough
