Hi all, I've replied to a few posts but not actually introduced myself. Think I've done things back to front, that's me actually!
Anyway my name is Linda,I'm very new to not only these kind of forums but also social media so please bare with me as it takes me ages and several attempts to post ! My main reason as been to find other's in similar positions get some support and maybe even find a local support group. I was diagnosed 14 years ago with rheumatoid arthritis, I spent a couple of years in a really bad place hardly mobile and needed personal care until in 2006 I started on anti TNF it gave me back my life! Unfortunately last year I was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis and then fibromyalgia but trying to stay positive.I am so glad that I found this site and hopefully will make some friends and allies against such deliberating likenesses.Linda

Welcome Linda! I hope you find us a helpful lot, I'm pleased you're doing better & sure being diagnosed some while you'll be able to swap plenty of experiences. You may find an NRAS support group reasonably close to you, this link lists where they are & the admins post where & when each are regularly nras.org.uk/groups.
Hi Linda. Welcome. I too have been diagnosed 14 years and am proud of the fact that I won't go on facebook or twitter. I would rather speak to my friends!! However, this site is different. We are all in the same boat albeit some in rowing boats, some in huge warships. We exchange all kinds of imformation, advice, problems etc on here and everyone is so supportive. We all have ups and down days and need to share them with people who understand what we are going through. Looking forward to speaking to you again. Best wishes.
