I understand your frustration Wendy, I hope it's just a quick recovery for you it's really hard stopping something when you know it will affect you xxx hug to you
I have just finished a course of antibiotics and missed my dose of mtx and i hope i don't suffer too much because of it. Hugs for you and i hope you soon feel brighter.xxxxx
This was my experience too. In the end, I was more off Enbrel than on it, so it became counter-productive. It was the reason it was stopped and I was prescribed Rituximab infusions instead. Jora
I've only had one pair of infusions and I understand that the effect is accumulative so I'm hoping for more relief than I have right now ( I'm also on MTX 25 mg and Prednisilone 7.5 mg. but I have DEFINITELY been less prone to infections . Even when those around me have been coughing for Britain and suffering streaming colds, I haven't been infected. It's quite nice to cel like the healthy one for a change Jora
I know how you feel Wendy. After many months of debilitating pain I've just started feeling the benefit of MTX, which I started taking 2 months ago, and I get a phonecall from my rheumatologist telling me I have to stop taking it because of a urinary tract infection.
Here's hoping our infections clear up pretty soon......
