RA diet for KAPHA

Hi all, this is the 3rd list. In KAPHA related RA, there is swelling, and swollen skin is cool/ cold to touch.

No kidney beans and tofu.

Rest all can be had in moderation

  • I am lost with your three posts. What is the message here?

  • I had mentioned earlier that in Ayurveda, there are 3 body types. One where VATA (gas) is predominant. In such case, the joints do not swell, but there is pain and you can hear a popping sound in your joint, especially fingers.

    Two, where PITTA (bile) is predominant , the joints swell, and the skin is warm/ hot to touch, along with a reddish tinge on the swollen skin.

    Three, where KAPHA. (Phlegm) is predominant, the. Joint s. Swell, and the skin is cool/ cold to touch.

    Accordingly, the diet varies.
