I have been on abattercept weekly for the last three month. also when I inject I take 10mg of materexet.
I feel a little better. Is it too early to say it has not worked for me? any advise greatly appreciated.

The general assumption for drugs to work is 3-12 weeks so you may be lucky and it has started to work for you although a change of routine the last couple of weeks may also have helped. There really is no rule with this disease and we are all different.
For me it took much longer and the rheumy team let me carry on only because we had exhausted most other drugs so together with a knee replacement last March it does seem to be working for me although not quite to the extent I would like but compared to the last 3 years it is good.
Are you having regular blood tests as it has taken my white blood count and neutrophil levels down. Farm
Hi
Yes it's probably too early to say it hasn't worked. It took 3-6 months to get going for me, now 10 months in and am doing pretty well on it. Good luck and hope you feel real benefits soon x
Very new to this ... 2 months only and I been frustrated by with my dr and treatment ... been on leflunomide since diagnosis and feel no change whatsoever ... if anything worse. Yet my dr says its working saying blood worK shows no inflammation? Really? Very confused despite being a RN. I can't wait what my dr has to say re : flar flare that landed me @ pcp office then ER the next day when Percocet wasn't even touching the pain!
Anyway, I'm glad you are feeling a little better ... sorry it takes so long to see if a treatment combination is working
Please keep us posted
P.S. Happy New Year!
