NRAS Group Meetings—Week Commencing 5th October 2015
Bolton NRAS Group
2015 meetings will take place on the first Tuesday of each month at Bolton One, Moor Road, Bolton, BL3 5BN from 2.00pm-4.00pm.
6th October - Bolton NRAS Groups’ Birthday! Dr. Sreekanth Vasireddy, Clinical Lead and Consultant Rheumatologist
Chesterfield NRAS Group
2015 group meetings will be held at Bridge Street Methodist Church, (also known as Pilsley Methodist Church) Bridge Street, Pilsley, Chesterfield, S45 8HE on the first Tuesday of each month from 6:30pm-8:00pm.
6th October - Dr Alison Naylor, Clinical Psychologist, Health Psychology Service, Derbyshire Community will present ‘Pain Management’
Gloucester NRAS Group
This group meets in the Function Room at Oxstalls Tennis Centre, Plock Court, Gloucester, GL2 9DW (plenty of free parking on site) on the first Wednesday of every other month from 7:00pm-9:00pm.
7th October - ‘Bone Health’ by Dr Coombes, Consultant Rheumatologist
Pembury & Tunbridge Wells NRAS Group
This group holds their bi-monthly meetings at Langton Green Village Hall, Speldhurst Road, TN3 0JJ from
2:00pm to 4:00pm.
7th October - Guest speaker: Cath Oram, Rheumatology Specialist Nurse working in the hospital research department
Cambridge NRAS Group
The Cambridge NRAS group meet at Addenbrooke's Hospital/Cambridge University School of Clinical Medicine, Hills Road, Cambridge CB2 0SP, bi-monthly on a Thursday. Please see below for meeting dates and times.
8th October - 4.00pm to 6.00pm - 'Physiotherapy and Health Coaching' by Jo Reid MCSP, Community Physiotherapy Team Leader, Cambridge. Taking place at Addenbrooke's Hospital, Seminar Room J3.
Preston NRAS Group
The Preston and District NRAS group meet in the Reception area at the Minerva Health Centre, Lowthorpe Road, Deepdale, Preston, PR1 6SB. Evening meetings take place throughout the year on a Thursday from 6:30pm-8:00pm.
8th October - 'Speaking to your employer about working with Rheumatoid Arthritis' by Jennie Faun, Advisor from Department of Work & Pensions
West Suffolk NRAS Group
The West Suffolk NRAS group meet every other month on a Thursday at Southgate Community Centre, Caie Walk, Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk IP33 2QA from 6:45pm-8:15pm.
8th October - Guest speaker: Dr Mudita Tripathi, Consultant Rheumatologist will present ‘RA – what it means and how we measure activity’
