NRAS is happy to let you know about this opportunity to take part in some research.

If you have Rheumatoid Arthritis and wear a wrist splint we would love to work with you!

We are looking for participants to take part in a study. The purpose of the study is to help us understand your splint wear behaviour and your needs in order to better design for people like you. The study will involve an ‘explore pack’ including questions and tasks made to help us learn all about you! The ‘explore pack’ will be sent to you at home to complete, it should take no more than 1 hour spread over 5 consecutive days and we think participants will find the process fun and thought provoking. In the future there will also be an opportunity to arrange to meet you so we can talk more about your ‘explore pack’ if you wish to help your efforts go a little further.

To take part participants should be (a) diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis, (b) currently using a prescribed wrist splint (c) male or female, (d) over 18 years of age, (e) live within a 30 mile radius of Loughborough University. Participants should speak English and have access and willingness to use either email or telephone.

If you think you could volunteer some of your time to take part in this study it would be greatly appreciated. To register your interest email c.l.pyatt@lboro.ac.uk with the subject line ‘I can take part’. Alternatively, if you have any further questions please feel free to email too.

Thank you and we can’t wait to hear from you!

Thank you Keryn. Unfortunately to participate in this piece of research it will include a wearable device that will be monitored so it is only open to those living near to the university.
