That is great news Alibromo, I hope it keeps working for you and no headaches. It has been about 5hours and no side effects so far. The nurse who gave me the infusion was very nice and very helpful, I was the only one there, one cancelled and the next patient was late. It did give me the chance to ask a lot of questions.

I will be having the injections once funding has been approved.

All the best, take care. Sue xx

Thanks Alison, it has been a good day, everything went well. I should be able to start on injections when I come back from Canada, that is if they get get the funding in place.

Take care, Sue xx

Good news Alison. Gutted to say I've had to miss my last two injections due to a low white blood count. On weekly blood tests to see if it's improved but the jury is out on whether I can continue. Feeling sorry for myself 😒

Hi Rachel43,

I am so sorry you may have to stop the infusions due to your low white blood count. I hope it changes for you so you can continue with the medication.

Good luck , fingers crossed for you.

Take care. Sue xx

They don't do the infusion at my local hospital Sue. It's just so frustrating. This is the only thing that's worked for me in two years. Just managed to start doing things again.

Was due to start back at work on Monday after nearly 8 months off. That's on hold now too.

Always waiting xx

Hi Rachel, I know how that feels, having to wait. I had to retire last August because I have RA and I also had a prolapsed disc which has shrunk back. I still have a lot of low back pain but at least I don't need surgery now. I am hoping the infusions work for me and I don't the same problem with the low white blood count. I am fed up with the really bad flare ups. Like I said, today went well, no side effects and I am hoping things will improve and I can get my life back.

I hope you can start the infusions again and start to feel better again. It is great when you can find a medication that works. When will you know if you can start the injections again? Please keep in touch and let me know how you get on. Take care, wishing you well, Sue xx
