I have been on Humira for 10 weeks. I stopped Prednisone very early on in hopes of this being my miracle drug other than minimal relief from MTX. Within 3 weeks, I had to go back on the steroids for relief. I had to stop MTX 2 weeks b/c liver counts are bad. This is not happening as quickly as I had hoped. How long has it taken for it to work? Any advice would be much appreciated!

It took 8 1/2 months to get encouraging bloods, and only after I had started vit D, after it was found that I was deficient. It might have been a coincidence, but might be worth checking your vit D levels!

I was 2 weeks from stopping it, as I have had some difficult side effects, now checking whether it has stopped the erosions, if so, I'll try to put up with them.

Hope it kicks in soon. M x

Vitamin D bloods are normal! Testing for sleep apnea though!

I think that I was lucky because my symptoms cleared within two weeks, but was warned it might take months. My surprise ant this turn of events was a happy one! I hope it soon works for you .I wouldn't want steroids now.
