ME OR THE IPAD?

Is it me or what? Is anyone else having trouble with the NRSA site? It takes forever to load just about anything. It is so slow that at times I have just given up trying to reply. Now, having said all that I only have use of an IPad that is no longer considered 'new'....it would be a first or second addition......please help......

Hi Jeanabelle60, do you mean our site nras.org.uk rather than this one? I look after the website and haven't had any queries about it being slow. When you say 'reply' though I'm guessing you mean this website?

If that's the case, please contact support@healthunlocked.com and see if they can work out what be the problem.

Best wishes,

Ruth

Yes Ruth it is this site. It is sooooooo slow. As I said it could be my IPad but I will contact the support site. Thanks for getting back to me so soon.

On another subject....I attended an evening last week, last Thursday to be exact, where a lovely woman from NRAS spoke about the great work you do. I'm sorry but I can't remember the womans name but I did speak to her and told her about how I am on the site everyday and about how much its means to me.....and many others too.

The meeting was at Altnagelvin Hospital in Derry, N Ireland. If you know who the woman is would you pass on my regards and tell her that it was a great meeting and the speakers were first class. Thanks. Jean.

Hi Jean,

That's lovely to hear! It was our Director of External Affairs, Clare Jacklin who posts on here quite regularly. I have let her know of your kind comments! We hope the success of the evening will lead to more events and possible groups in Northern Ireland as we haven't managed to do this so far.

Hope the support team get back to you soon but if not, send me a reminder and I'll enquire too!

Best wishes,

Ruth

Hi, yes there are problems. I had three attempts at writing a long reply to someone yesterday and lost all three before I finished. Two cut out and one froze (very frustrating). Fourth attempt, I opened a word doc and typed response into that and then copied and pasted it into NRAS. A work around solution that worked. Hope problem gets fixed

Thanks, I jusr got a reply back and was advised to contact the Healthunlocked site to see if it can be sorted out there......TBH, I think it is this IPad......technology is just moving far too fast for me to keep up.......so I've stopped trying. Big birthday coming up......might start dropping a few hints! Hope your well. XX

I wonder if you have got too many programmes running in the background. This often happens to me and it makes a huge difference when I completely close them. If you scroll to the top of this page, you should see Healthunlocked in the centre. Under that, there will be a mass of sites that you have visited. Click on each and you will see a small x to the left, then click on that.

I do apologise if this is all obvious to you. It took me ages to discover this, and I've since met many who have been grateful for the tip.

Of course, your problem might be due to something completely different. Jora
