Got my 1st appointment date.
Hope all goes well for you. Here's hoping for a speedy result xx
Oh Matt i am so pleased they are going to put you on them and i hope you soon start to feel on the up darling.xxxx
Hi mattcass
If you're like me, you've had to wait a LONG time for that appointment at WGH, so hope all goes well.
Good luck Mattcas, hope your treatment works fast.
Best wishes that they find a suitable treatment quickly now. X
I hope that they picked the right one for you. In the USA, they start with the least expensive or the oldest one and from there we get a few choices. WE are hit extremely hard with advertisements over here. RA is big bucks for the pharmacy so they won't be missing a chance to run commercials for it during Television programs and in our magazines, even in our mailboxes.. haah. We are overwhelmed with information.
Hi yikes2
That takes me back to when my Dad lived in LA and I was so shocked at the adverts on TV for drugs! We are lucky in the uk it's all illegal.
Kiki
Good luck Matt, hope all goes well & life starts getting better for you x
Snap! I go on 26th, want to compare notes afterwards? hahahaha I so feel like you. I want something that will work and not send me off the planet.
Great news Someonesmother! Glad you got a date! Bring it on x x
Yes not sure what will happen and not sure I can start soon as I have a cardiac ablation on 21 March so may have to delay the start of them.
Oh heck poor you! I have a wee problem with my heart, it flutters and makes me feel a bit funny sometimes. I got bad palpitations after my IV Rituximab in December so my rheumy has referred me to a cardiologist. Hope the ablation goes smoothly. K x
At last. The very best of luck Matt.
Hip hip hooray Matt!!!! Brilliant news x x
Be careful with those Biological Agents Matt, sounds like the KGB are after you lol, in all seriousness, great news, hope you get the right one first time
I hope they can help. If its what I had when I went back on to biologics, it involved X-rays, bloods, and I think that's it. I was put on Enbrel, then Cinzia and now Ritiximab. The first two I could inject myself, though I'm glad I dont have to do the Cinzia any more as it was a thick needle. But worth it if it makes you feel better. Oh yes and the Western uses BUPA home healthcare to deliver which seemed to work quite well. Different from Healthcare at home.
