As you all know i have had some rough nights sleep this last week. Well i went to the doctors yesterday and though she hasn't given me anything she has ordered some blood test and sent me straight to bed to rest. It is starting to look like a flare, but which disease is causing me the problems. Anyway i did as i was told(for once) and i have to say i felt better as the evening went on. I slept very well for me. I won't pretend to like being sent to bed,but it has worked this time. I am not saying i am out of the woods yet,but at this time in the morning i feel good for me.
I don't like the idea of spending a lot of time in bed,but i suppose that is what i will have to do if i want to feel better, not that i will ever be well. Anyway the upshot is i feel a lot brighter this morning. So when i get dressed i will go down the hospital and get a blood test to see if that shows anything up.
So good morning to you all and i hope your all feeling bright this morning.xxxxx

Thank you Ali,it looks like i will have to spend a lot more time in bed just to feel normal(or as normal as i can be) I don't like the idea of more bed,but needs must if i want to feel brighter.xxxx
Morning Sylvi. Sometimes it's necessary to obey! I hope things improve for you & whatever the blood test reveals it's something straight forward & easily sorted.
Now, onto your pic! Are you good with houseplants too? Reason I ask is I was given a Peace Lily by a friend when we came back to the UK to replace one she'd given me years before & I didn't take when we went to Spain but it died in the care of my m-i-l. The one I'd left was a beautiful specimen as is this new one now. It's come on beautifully & has many large leaves but when it "flowers" the spathes are poor excuses! Very small in comparison to my previous one & not as big as the ones which were flowering when she gave it me. Could it be something I'm doing wrong or just the particular type, I know there are many! I'm treating it as I did my previous one & at a loss. Hoping you'll have a simple answer! x
I fear that's the case but the spathes were much more robust when I received it, more like your picture & the new ones look like they're struggling. Doesn't react to the usual feed either though otherwise it's healthy with many large leaves. Hey ho! x
It could be where you have put it. Mine sits in the porch away from direct sunlight, but it gets the afternoon warmth. I have another one in my conservatory and that gets the sunlight in the morning and as yet it hasn't flowered, but it still seems to like it there. So try moving it and see if that helps it.xxxx
You could have a point there. I've tried it in 2 places including where my old one was but of course it's not the same plant as my original one so may be more fussy. Thanks Syvi. x
Pleased to hear you are taking the doctors advice, I found the first thing that helped me when I was feeling bad was going to bed and sleeping, was a bit hard to accept going to bed during the day , feeling guilty, but it really helps. Hope your bloods show something that the doctors can help to adjust your meds and you get over this flare soon.
Hope the good feelings continue and you soon improve and get some good pain free rest.
Please REST Sylvi. Listen to your body and don't wait until you're shattered. Have a restful day and hope you get some answers from the blood test soon. Angela x
Just been and got the bloods done and went and saw my nurse and got weighed as well. She has also told me to spend more time in bed as well. I have lost some more weight too thank goodness. We then went to the butchers and we came home as hubby thinks i have done enough. He will go back to town to get the fruit shopping and other bits and pieces and i am going to bed after a spot of lunch.xxxxx
