NRAS Group Meetings—Week Commencing 28th July 2014

Medway NRAS Group

This group meet at the Medway Health Staff Social Club at Medway Maritime Hospital, Windmill Road, Gillingham, Kent ME7 5NY bi-monthly on a Monday from 7:00pm-9:00pm.

28th July - Alternative Therapies: Craniosacral Therapy by Sarah Johnson with Q&A

Hertfordshire NRAS Group

Quarterly meetings are held at Welwyn Civic Centre, Prospect Place, Welwyn AL6 9ER on a Tuesday from

7:00pm-8:30pm.

29th July - Guest speaker: Laura Wetherly – Government Affairs Officer at NRAS, topic: ‘Welfare Reforms’. Also, one of the group coordinators will be giving a brief introduction to the Prevent RA study.

Oldham NRAS Group

Bi-monthly meetings are held at St John's Ambulance Headquarters, Busk Road, off Ellen Street, Oldham, OL9 6QY on a Tuesday from 7:00pm-8:30pm.

29th July - Guest speaker: John Thorpe from the Welfare Rights Department will be giving a talk on benefits

Cambridge NRAS Group

2014 meetings are to be held at Arbury Community Centre, (corner of) Campkin Road/Arbury Road, Cambridge CB4 2LD. Please see below times and dates for these meetings.

30th July - 6.30pm to 8.30pm - 'Pills and Potions' by Alison Grayland, Community Pharmacist

Isle of Wight NRAS Group

Bi-monthly meetings are held at Laidlaw Day Hospital, St Mary's Hospital Campus, Dodnor Lane, Newport, Isle of Wight on a Thursday from 7:00pm - 9:00pm.

31st July - Bingo Night! £1 to play.

You, your family, friends and healthcare professionals are all very welcome to attend and you don’t have to be a member of NRAS to attend a group meeting!
