Saw Rheumy and have had to come off Humira. She thinks it's causing psoriasis. I have to go for some radio active dye thing now.

Apparently they inject you and then you wait for a minimum of 3 hours to be scanned. Oh joy! Has anyone else had this and what's it feel like?

Hi, yes I've had it done. It's ok not painful, it didn't make me feel strange. You have to drink loads of water so take a large bottle with you. They have a separate toilet & waiting room for you to use which is only for patients so take a good book & beware of the strange colour of your pee!! Good luck x

Thanks. I was worried that it might feel strange!

I've had this scan to get diagnosed. The initial injection is tiny. The wait is not much fun, so take snacks and books. It's not a tunnel like an MRI or CT scanner, it kind-of moves over you, so you shouldn't feel claustrophobic or anything.

Thanks. Think the 3 hour wait will be daunting. Might go in to Brighton shopping to kill time if they allow me out!
