I am on Enbrel injections once a week. They have transformed my life. I am back on my feet and walking several miles every day as part of my exercise routine. Thank goodness for wonderful modern medication. I hope it helps you as much as it has helped me.

Adalimumab is the trade name for Humira. Usually a fortnightly self injection although in some cases it can be increased to weekly. There are various types of biologics which act on different cells and sometimes it can take time to find the right one for you but when you have found it they can turn your life around. Don't be scared by the listed side effects as these actually affect a small percentage of those that take it and many people find the biologics less disruptive on their body than the DMARD's.
