NRAS Group Meeting—Week Commencing 12th May 2014
Thanet NRAS Group
Meetings for 2014 will take place bi-monthly at The New Life Family Church, 8 Church Street, Margate, Kent, CT9 1ST from 6:45pm-8:15pm on Mondays.
12th May - Guest speaker: Podiatrist, Wendy Winpenny will be talking about all things foot related!
Oxford NRAS Group
Meetings are held in the Lecture Theatre at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre, Windmill Road, Oxford OX3 7LD on Tuesdays every second month at 6:30pm to 8:00pm. Look for the NRAS direction posters to the room.
13th May - Dr. Karen Barker, Clinical Director 'Evidence surrounding exercise of the upper limbs with RA - what should you be doing?'
Mid Somerset NRAS Group
Meetings are held at the Taunton Rugby Club, Hyde Lane, Bathpool, Taunton TA2 8BU. In 2014 winter meetings will be held bi-monthly on a Saturday morning and summer meetings will be held on a Tuesday evening.
Tuesday 13th May 7pm - Guest speaker: Luke Gompels, Consultant Rheumatologist 'Developments Locally and Nationally in RA'
Worcester NRAS Group
Bi-monthly meetings take place on Wednesdays between 6.45pm to 8.30pm at Lyppard Grange Community Centre in Ankerage Green, Warndon Village, Worcester WR4 0DZ.

Weston-super-Mare NRAS Group
This group meets bi-monthly on a Wednesday from 6:30pm to 8:30pm at Asda Community Centre, Asda Stores Ltd, Phillips Road, Weston-super-Mare, BS23 3UZ.

Wrexham NRAS Group
2014 meetings are held bi-monthly at Tesco Wrexham, Cresent Road, Wrexham, LL13 8HF from 7:00-8:30pm on a Wednesday.
14th May - Lead by Professor Tom O’Brien from Bangor University, this session will look at exercise and Rheumatoid Arthritis. It's the ultimate RA suffers guide to how to exercise to maintain and increase health, mobility and energy levels without causing flare-ups!
West Middlesex NRAS Group
Hillingdon Baptist Church Halls, Patterson Room, Hercies Road, Uxbridge, Middx, UB10 9LS. Meetings run from
2:00pm - 4:00pm every other month on a Thursday.
15th May - 'From the Other Side. RA, a Family Perspective' - Des Doyle, husband of Group Coordinator Dawn, will be talking about living with his wife and her RA. Friends and family are especially welcome to this meeting.
Blackpool NRAS Group
Blackpool and District NRAS Group (BADRAG) meet in the cafeteria at Clifton Hospital, Pershore Road, Lytham
St. Annes, FY8 1PB from 7:00pm – 8:30pm on the third Thursday of alternate months.
15th May - Open Forum. We all benefit from the experiences of others. Come along and share your thoughts.
You, your family, friends and healthcare professionals are all very welcome to attend and you don’t have to be a member of NRAS to attend a group meeting!
