My ankle has been fused twice and still not fully fused, which causes pain. Will it totally fuse in time?

It was first fused in December 2012 and again in September 2013.

Ouch, that doesn't sound good, my main problems are my feet and ankles and the pains that go with it, I hope you can sort things out very soon because too much pain isn't good for any of us.

Hi

I had my ankle fused a few years ago. I was lucky and it fused fine.I can still move it by about one cm. I think that's to allow for me wearing heels (I wish! )

So no pain in that ankle joint (but pain in various other joints!)

I was pleased I had it done.

I hope you get some success.

:-)

I also had a successful fusion one year ago. It probably took a year for random pains to stop, but now I can walk on sand and uneven grass etc which pain kept me from doing before the surgery.

The way fusion works, I think if it has not fused properly in the first 6 to 8 weeks, it will not fuse any more with time.
