Good news, I had the epidural on Monday for a prolapsed disc and I am almost pain free both RA and my back....

I just want to thank everyone who responded to my post regarding taking warfarin and other medications, and having to stop warfarin and have clexane injections which I did myself for 3 days and 2 days after the epidural. I am on anti-tnf and other pain relief. I have been almost pain free since Monday having the epidural, not sure how long it will last, fingers crossed, (if only I could.) I am really hoping to make it over to Canada to see my family. Even my RA pain eased and now only have pain in my shoulders at night when trying to sleep. I really hope others can find some pain relief very soon. Sue x

Hi Allanah, You know I would if I could. I have twin g-daughters I have to spoil and end up taking loads of stuff for them. I hope l can make it over this year. I have started with a lot of pain in my shoulders so I haven't booked my flt as yet... Take care, Sue xx

Hi my very special angel, I kept receiving the angel feathers when I least expected to. They really got me through a really bad time. I knew you were thinking of me as I was of you.

I booked my flight this morning, I am so looking forward to my time with the family. I have an appointment with the specialist who gave me the epidural the day before I leave.
