URGENT REQUEST - People with RA needed for an NRAS focus group on chronic fatigue - Friday, 28th March

We are heading towards our second RA Awareness Week in June and getting various activities underway.

One of these activities is to publish some new research about the impact of chronic fatigue on the lives of people with RA, which will feature the results of an online survey of people with the disease.

As a first step towards publishing the research we will be holding a focus group on chronic fatigue and how it affects people. The focus group will be held at our office in Maidenhead, Berkshire, on Friday 28th March from 10.30-12.30 followed by a sandwich lunch. The event will end at around 1pm.

Is this something you’d be interested in participating in? If you are available to attend the focus group, please email Nicola at nicola@nras.org.uk and let her know as soon as possible, as we have a few spaces remaining.

Thank you!

Jamie

Hi Jamie, I am interested in attending. Where is the office again? Sorry, have forgotten but have a feeling it's a long way from Kent!

Best Wishes, Fran

Have you done the online survey yet?

We are still developing this at the moment. The focus group will help to generate the survey questions. Best, Jamie

Would have loved to come but its a tad too far. Happy to do an online survey or conference call on the subject if it comes up again. My GP is thinking of recommending me for a sleep study due to my fatigue.

OK - thanks Kyla. Sorry you can't make the focus group, but we will be circulating the online survey in due course. Best, Jamie
