Anyone on Tocilizumab?

I've had about 7 infusions now, I felt like a mirac!e cure at the time, but now its stopped being effective, everything I seem to take becomes ineffective,

Has this happened to to anyone else?

Morning,ive been on Tocilizumab for 16months now,1xinfusion a month.What do you feel has not been effective for you?Maybe we could compare notes?

i had exactly the same response......after about three months my rheumy took me off it and put me on abatacept which is just nothing short of miraculous...hope things work out for you....XX

Hi I've had 9 infusions now. It's been good for me but I still get some pain at times, especially about a week before the next one due! Hope it works out ok x

I am hoping to start this drug as soon as I can. Space and time limitations in the hospital causing delays.

I hope they find you something that is more effective for your condition.

Are you sero negative, I am. My consultant thinks that is why I am having limited response to any drugs I have trialled.

Failed humira, cimzia, leflunomide due to adverse reactions. Still on methotrexate.

I've had a the DMRAD this is the first biologic, it seems that my body has worked a way round this med! So although I don't swell as much I have started having awful pain again and am living off pain killers.

I would love to have a night of unbroken sleep x

Hi I have had 4 infusions now and find it's not helping all of the joints I have pain in, my rhuemy is trying me on couple more if no improvement will be trying an alternative. It's very frustrating isn't it.
