Tonight I just want to cut off my feet the pain is worse than I have ever had

Have u tried putting them in a hot bowl of water or indeed putting cold on them fo a little while? It does help mine.
Also I use my painkillers regularly and when desperate do rub some analgesic gel but none that will make the dose too high when joined onto the painkillers.
Putting your feet up also tends to help . Feel sad for you x
Hi Jen,
Have just read your last post about your rash and the lack of support from your out of hours go. I was horrified at what I read! How are you today? Have you managed to get seen yet?
I do hope you feel better really soon. It sounds like you're having a miserable time. Sending you gentle hugs.
Mel xx
I feel badly for you. My feet are also affected and they get to burning and aching terribly. A hot soak as Allanah suggested with Epsom salts is what helps mine. I hope it works for you too.
Hi
I eventually saw GP this afternoon, she feels that the cold/virus bug that I am just getting over has triggered a flare, she didn't offer any suggestions as to how I manage it other than fluids, rest and continue with the painkillers etc
As for the rash she thinks it's a fungal infection probably connected to my eczema !!! And has prescribed some cream, I have to go back next
Monday as my blood pressure was very high - I did explain that I had been very stressed over weekend waiting for doctor to phone she was quite appalled when I told her what happened, - so it was inevitable that blood pressure would be high after that
Fingers crossed the cream will sort rash, I see rheumy nurse on Wednesday so will have a chat with her about the rest, feet still on fire but slightly less painful tonight, thank you for your support

How are you today? Hope it gets better and the docs help soon xx
I would say you have neuropathy pain, which is from the inflammation pressing on your nerves. I got rid of my feet burning and hurting by buying a cream you can get at any health food store and also The Neuropathy Support Formula repairs the nerves faster then letting them heal on there own. Did you know it takes 2 years to heal a nerve 2 inches? You can call the support @ toll free 1-888-840-7142. Good luck with you feet. I understand what your going thru. Keep in touch. ( also u can google it too)
This is what my GP thinks about my burning feet and icy cold toes and wet legs - that because its the fine nerves that are affected it will take a long time for them to recover. It is horrible - I've had it for 6 months now. I can't let extremities get cold or the Raynauds gets to bad but I spend a lot of the night trying to cool them down!
I ALSO HAVE BURNING IN FEET. I had nerve tests done on my feet and legs. I was diagnosed with having neurophy. I take Neurontion 300 ml 3 times per day. It helps most of the time, but not when I am having RA flare. SO SORRY FOR YOUR PAIN
