Contemplating a Snowy Morning

Our garden's covered over white

with snow that fell throughout the night

and now a pair of hungry Dunnocks

in their search for food are flummoxed!

Hopping hither, thither, yon,

where have all the breadcrumbs gone?

I could only find a photo of one Dunnock in snow :-(

No snow here either...I'm in Essex. Hope you still putting food out especially this time of year..I put food out everyday and am rewarded with parents bring in their young. We had a Woodpecker in garden this year so I was very happy about that. Take caremaryx

None in southport lol, not that we ever get any.

Apart from the past two years lol.

I love Dunnocks. Such a cuddly shape. x

The photo's not mine, it's off t'interweb. We always put out nuts, fat and seeds but hardly any come down. Probably frightened of next door's Doberman she has a very loud bark.
