If it was me I would kneel down and pray lol, it's bad here lol, I should think it would be best to phone the GP surgery or if its the Rhuematologists , I would phone their secretary as soon as possible and explain the her/him ( don't want to be sexist lol) the situation you are in, hopefully they might be able to fit you in earlier.

I hope this helps

Or ask if there are any cancellation appointments if you could go at short notice. You may have to phone regularly to see if one turns up, but could be quicker. Howeer, isn't there a helpline at your hospital? I have a number to callif problems, and a lot of places have specialist nurses you can speak to between appointments.

Hi thanks for replying, yeah bad here too, it's rhemy so will try the secretary thanks.

No helpline or nurses to give any help. Feel very much on my own until my apptments every 6 months. I have had some problems for the past year and they have looked after me but there's no support in between

Several strategies you could try: GPs can sometimes hurry up appointments or get you seen more urgently, or they can just email the rheumatologist for advice which might be useful in your case; your rheum nurse might be able to do the same, and as others have said, ask if you can go on a cancellation list, especially if you can be available at very short notice (make sure you give them a contact number they can get you on).

I think give you a general practitioner ring. They will be able to give you a drug to help your upset stomach, so you can cope with there are any drugs better. Mine give me a drug called lansoprazole which really helps, and it helped me tolerate a lot of their drugs they have given me.

It is often difficult to get an appointment at the hospital. However your GP should be able to help you call with your tummy problems. I hope you get sorted soon. Lots of love A
