Useful tool!

I was given this nutcracker a few years ago by someone who was given it for Christmas and didn't want it. I'm not into cracking nuts either but took it to be polite and shoved it away in a drawer. Fast forward to me trying to open bottles and failing miserably with my stiff sore hands when I had a brain wave- I tried the nutcracker and it is brilliant for loosening tops, it is big enough to cope with the large tops on plastic milk cartons right down to small tops like the sports caps on bottled water. There are little teeth inside that grip the top and you don't need to use a lot of strength or force. I'm not sure where it came from but I'm sure they can be bought on Ebay or kitchen supply sites/shops. Hope this has been some use to someone. The cat is in the pic for scale, it is a tiny cat :-p

I had an OT give me something like that once, but glad you found a use for the nutcracker you already had instead of having it taking up space in a kitchen drawer.
