I've got to start injecting and going to see the nurse this afternoon for my lesson. I hate needles so not looking forward to it but hope it makes me feel better. I've been on the wrong meds for a year. How have you all gotten on with injecting yourself any tips..
First lesson today: I've got to start injecting and... - NRAS
First lesson today
Don't think about it,just do it. It is easier than you think.xx
Good luck and let us know how you get on, x
Good luck. maybe someone a family member or friend could do it for you if easier, I DONT look at needles. a tip for you though enbrel and humira can both come as a " pen" were you dont see the needle if you are having anto tnfs?? but Cimza is needle only as is methotrexate (metoject)
Good luck Beeper
Hi Beeper
I am pretty new to all this - started injecting with metoject 6 weeks ago. Training was fine - didn't hurt one bit. I can do it (even though I don't like doing it) but prefer a family member to do it for me as they just stick it in with no hesitation. I squeeze a place on my stomach and I squeeze it as hard as poss and then I can hardly feel it!!
Good luck
Yes I'm with Sylvi - its very much easier than it sounds - just don't think too hard about it.
Pinch an inch, but then remember to let go.... And try to relax, breath and take it slowly. I am totally phobic about needles, but once I'd done it once it was fine. Polly
Hi with the others pinch then needle honest it really is no hassle. For the last 7weeks its been ok xx
