Group Meetings this week!

The groups holding their meetings this week are:

Mid Somerset NRAS Group - Taunton

Meetings are held at the Taunton Rugby Club, Hyde Lane, Bathpool, Taunton TA2 8BU.

Tuesday 9th July 7pm - Jenny Chamberlain, Physiotherapist - Keeping active and exercise with RA. Also, Sue Chinn will be talking on Bio-resonance feedback.

Oxford NRAS Group

This group is co-ordinated by Sue with the support of the Rheumatology Team. Meetings are held in the OC Conference Room at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre, Windmill Road, Oxford OX3 7LD on Tuesdays every second month at 6:30pm to 8:00pm. Look for the NRAS direction posters to the room.

9th July - Catherine McClinton, Research Nurse Manager will be talking on 'Insights into Patient Experience of Research'.

Weston-super-Mare Group (WARM)

This group meets on Wednesdays from 6:30pm to 8:00pm at Asda Community Centre, Asda Stores Ltd, Phillips Road, Weston-super-Mare, BS23 3UZ.

10th July - Gillian Cook, Dietician will be speaking on Diet and RA.

Worcester NRAS Group

Meetings take place on Wednesdays between 6.45pm to 8.30pm at Lyppard Grange Community Centre in Ankerage Green, Warndon Village, Worcester WR4 0DZ .

10th July - Annette Jaep, Expert Patient Self Management Programme (EPP).

Leeds NRAS Group

This group launched in early 2012 with the support of Chapel Allerton Hospital rheumatology unit. Meetings are held alternate months on Wednesdays at Leeds Musculoskeletal Biomedical Research Unit (LMBRU), Chapel Allerton Hospital, Chapeltown Road, Leeds LS7 4SA.

10th July - 1:30-3:00pm Tina Hawkins, Advanced Clinical Pharmacist for Rheumatology will be giving a talk to the group.

North East NRAS Group

The North East Volunteer Group of the National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society meet socially in the coffee bar at Newcastle Central Library, New Bridge Street West on the second Wednesday of the month between 11:00 am and 12:00 noon for a chat and a cuppa. Please feel free to come along. We look forward to seeing you, your family and/or friends. Next meeting July 10th.

Heart of England NRAS Group - Solihull

This NRAS group meets on the fourth Thursday of every other month at Broomfield Hall, Union Road, Solihull B91 3DH (The British Legion) from 6:45pm for prompt start at 7:00pm to 8:30pm. This is opposite the back entrance to Solihull Hospital.

11th July - Dr. Sinha, Senior Consultant Rheumatologist will be hosting a general discussion on RA.
