I don't understand a lot about mtx but was at the nurse. she said my bloods are low at 4.4 there a lot of inflammation but not got rheum doctor until july do you think am need something else

4.4 doesn't immediately put me in mind of any of the main things I look out for. I'm sure the nurse wouldn't mind if you were to ring her to get a note of what it is that's at 4.4 and also to ask her advice about what you should do. Actually, thinking about it, your GP might be a better person to ask.

Sometimes I think MTX can lower your white blood cell count. But so can infections. So it might be that.
I have a blood test record book because I am on MTX. And the WBC numbers range from 4 to 12.
Your GP should be able to explain, and will have access to your results I expect.

The 4.4 could be a few things, it could be you HB levels which they need to Watch incase you become aneamic, could be your neutros, white cell count or your crp, so i would go and call to see which one the 4.4 was for but im sure if it something to be concerned about your GP would want to see you as most of the blood tests have guidelines where if it goes above or below a certain number depending the test then they would be concerned but your best bet as the people above said is go to your GP or call up your nurse, hope this is some help to you
