That's a good idea

You could sell cakes in work ( get people to bake them for you)

You could do something sponsored like a sponsored silence or something like that ( not saying your a chatter box, just know not many of us with RA can do a sponsored run)

Going off the comment justlizz made about collection boxes you could ask your local supermarket to allow you to bag pack for people at the end off tills ( if your wrists can take it) I've seen a lot off money raised by the bag packers as most people put something in if you help with there packing

You could arrange a little bring and buy day at your local community centre or something

All the above are if you want to raise money for NRAS

If you simply want to raise awareness you can put the posters up in your doctors, workplace, rheumatologists, corner shop etc etc

I think NRAS have done something on there webpage with fundraising ideas etc so it maybe worth a look :)

Doing posters and jewellery and phone recycling collection, Ruth at Nras sends you envelopes for free returns? You can make a load for Nras just by sending them your old jewellry, even costume or broken and old mobiles!

Hi all,

thanks for getting involved in the week. RA Fibro's ideas are great manwithnoname and we can provide you with the bits and pieces you would need to do any of these. Maybe you would like to put up an information display in your local hospital, unit or GP surgery - we have a lot of infographics and posters and literature, which you can have. Do you want to email me oliver@ nras.org.uk and we can have a chat. I am joint lead on the week and I also work in the fundraising team so can help with anything you want to do.

thanks all.

Oli
