2011 is no exception!

Each year I am amazed by the number of supporters who raise money for us, and so far 2011 has been no exception.

Tea for 10 has been a particularly popular fundraising activity – to date we have had about 60 people sign up to have tea and cake with their friends. Five of these tea parties (including our own here at NRAS) have already taken place and raised a fantastic £366. We are looking forward to hearing all about the other parties throughout the year; please do remember to send us pictures and let us know how it went! As many of you will know, our Celebrity T-Shirt Auction on eBay for Charity is currently taking place and ends at around 7pm on Sunday. We have had such a fantastic response so far, with the signed Rolf Harris t-shirt already up to £60! If you do decide to buy anything on eBay this week, please remember that NRAS are also featuring on the checkout again, so when paying for your items please choose to donate £1 – every little helps!

One of our other big events approaching is our 10th Birthday Lunch which has now been confirmed for 30th June at The Warwickshire Golf Club and Country Club, Leek Wootten, Warwick. It really is a way for us to say thank you to everyone for being there for us over the last 10 years. Tickets are now on sale so please call Val on 01628 501547 to get yours!

I don’t know about you, but I for one cannot wait until the clocks go forward at the end of March; I love the lighter evenings and the BBQ weather! Fingers crossed the weather will be nice on 30th June!
