NRAS and Medac Survey. Being diagnosed with a long term condition such as Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) or Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA) means that many decisions need to be made during your treatment pathway, particularly about the range of options that are available to you.

We are trying to gather information about the role that you and your healthcare professionals play in influencing the decisions on which treatment is chosen and how much input or influence you have had during your consultations. Because we will be asking specific questions about your consultations, please only complete this survey if you have been diagnosed with RA or JIA within the last 10 years.

We very much appreciate your time in helping us with this survey. The following questions should only take about 20 minutes to complete. Click here to start your questionnaire archersmarketing.co.uk/nras... The deadline for this survey is 30th June 2015

Done :-)

Oh dear, didn't notice the time scale. As I was diagnosed in 1987 I shouldn't have done this, but I did put the date in my answers. :-(

Please don't worry. The idea of keeping it to last 10 years was to get a more up to date picture of current practice but your answers will still give us a great insight. thank you for completing it.

Awh I can't do it I've been diagnosed 22 years 😕

Am finding this survey a bit difficult to to fill in. Mainly because My GP had already tested for RA factor and anti ccp and also had esr and crp results ready for my Consultant alongwith xrays of my hands. Basically that first appt was to confirm that I did indded have RA (My consultant did examine my joints) but since most of the decisions I have made havebeen in consultation with RA specialist nurses which I go and see in between my half yearly appts with specialists. Any help with this NRAS do I answer as though consultant/specialist nurses clinics are same person?

Yes please do answer each question as if it is either the rheumatology consultant or the nurse consultant/specialist nurse.

done. Wish I could have put more comment though.

I have done it too but found the format of questions relating to diagnosis, choices, benefits of drugs and discussion with my consultant (I don't have a specialist nurse) quite hard to fit with my own experiences.
