Well we got down here safely. No hiccups to add to the journey. I was very tired by the time we got here and a bit tearful. We have a lovely bungalow right next to the reception so no walking far for me thank goodness.
We went into Ilfracombe last night for a look see.It was a beautiful evening and i got about on my scooter as well. I have taken loads of photos already. If the pic comes up it is of where we are staying.xxx

Have a lovely time, are you at Park Dean Holiday Camp by any chance? You have some lovely areas to explore. Don't forget to have a cream tea and eat the Somerset way, split scone add lashings of cream, with a small blob of jam, Devon people do jam then cream. But definitely no butter! ummmmmmmm lovely. xxx
Looks lovely and I love that area - lots of childhood memories. You must be having wonderful weather as well, lucky girl!
We were down nr. London last Sunday for a family gathering; I fell and broke my foot!! Not in a cast (cos of where the break is) but immobile, stir crazy and being waited on by my wonderful hubby Paul. Positive side, can sit out in the sun in the garden and am catching up on a digital photogr. course I'm taking with the OU, so every cloud has a silver lining.
Continue to enjoy the holiday and happy snapping!!!
I used to live in Ilfracombe, Number 8 Coronation Terrace, it is just up from the bay on the right. Its the main road from combe martin. It was in the quite season and very peaceful..
Hope you enjoy yourselves there., and rest plenty as it is very hilly.
Sweet Sylvie, So good to know you got to your holiday destination, enjoy every minute of it! The bungalow is charming, sounds like a perfect location. You bothe have earned a great holiday! May the sun shine on your face, may the road NOT rise up to meet you, causing injury Love, Loret xx
