Got my vitamine sea !!!

Had my weekend on the geat Blue although it was cold and the sea a bit angry and I had a master tumble on my way back to shore, it was food for the soul and so thankfull that I have chosen to enrich my life by stop smoking....I could breath freely whilst battling the waves and the fish...It is so awarding !!!

Thank you Roisin, It Is a King Mackrel, or Couta. smaller one is Queen Mackrel or Natal Snoek.

Wow, that is a huge mackerel compared to the little tiny ones I am used to seeing in a tin here

Ouch..We are surely blessed...should have taken a pic of that 1 meter fillet.....Very tasty ...bit dry but if coocked well it is very nice...I like it deep fried.

When down south for my holidays, all I ate was fish, beautiful fish from kippers to crab to monk fish, so fresh and caught that morning, they specialize in fish from the Atlantic Ocean
