Back of a bus
Looking back, add to the list a place where... - No Smoking Day
Looking back, add to the list a place where you could smoke but can't now.
Cinema! I can just about remember sitting watching Bambi or some such as a kid surrounded by smoke, yuck!
On flights. I read recently that you're actually more likely to get sick on flights these days because airlines no longer purify the air as frequently as they did when smoking was allowed. I have no idea if that's true or not, but it's certainly not a reason to going back to allowing smoking. I still feeling guilty about puffing away in the first smoking row, with the last non-smoking row right in front of me! Those poor people who had to put up with it.
At my desk at work..
My first job was in a bank. We could smoke at the teller desks!
hospitals. They had patient lounges where you could go for a smoke.
My word , how it's all changed , pub is another one, I remember mum and dad puffing away in the house I don't think people smoke in houses now.
Spent so much time in smoky pubs with my family as a kid - vowing I'd NEVER smoke myself. Ha!
I can remember my teacher smoking at his desk in front of the class. Who remembers the teacher's smoking in the staff room? Got a memory of people smoking in marks and Spencer's when shopping, don't know if this is real as I was very little.
Gawd yes; the staffroom stink!
