Here's a starter, I was 20 minute from "The Pearly Gates" when I was saved by a Stent operation, had a second one done 3 months later. That was 18 months ago, I now feel absolutely marvelous, my energy level is amazing and my nose is "Bionic". After that first operation the surgeon told me I NEARLY DIDN'T MAKE IT, was then my decision to quit.
My wife had two uncles, both previously smokers and successful quitters many years ago, one, Uncle Ron, missed his 90th birthday by two weeks, the other, Uncle Bill is now 92 and still goes out to do the shopping. I've got 30 or more years of living to do yet and I'm going to enjoy it .
Hi Les, I got flu, became so ill. Couldn't smoke as couldn't inhale without coughing, couldn't buy any as too ill to drive. Penny dropped, stopped smoking 101 days ago.
Think I've bored everyone with my sense of taste, mega fantastic, and how quickly I could deep breathe without coughing.
Currently repainting doors and window frames white.
Well Done Caroline leave the painting for a bit and go out and smell the flowers
