I've put on about a stone and a half since I quit in October, but thankfully for me that's a good thing as I looked a tad on t'skinny side after my accident. My better half says she prefers me more now with a bit of meat on the bones lol.

Yes weight gain is a side affect for many ( including me) but you can concentrate on that later, just enjoy your food, with all those new taste buds dancing around.

Doing great, a huge well done, not easy that first month, but doing very well indeed, your body is starting to say THANKYOU big time.

I've put on loads of weight, two dress sizes, but I'm not smoking and this week (week 12) my appetite seems less ferocious.

The silver lining is you won't get out of breath rolling as you are a non smoker :)

We're coming up with some serious advise & support here! LOL Great that someone understands me hahahh

Hiya. I am only on my 3rd week so not bad yet but starting 5:2 diet to avoid issues later on. Its quite good as i have been more obsessing about food than not smoking which is a bonus! Lol xx

mmaya i wouldn't worry about the weight for now, you can work on that once you quit is well established :)

hellerscatch, I'm not worried with the weight at all, just "venting"...I knew the weight was coming, I've done this before :)

...I know it's sad in a way, but I think the fact that I have tried so many times, it's actually making this very easy this time...I am getting worried that I "think" I am in total control...I think I'm going to end up falling off the wagon because I am not even taking this seriously any more.

not one craving...I still think about the fags day & night, but I have to wish to lite up.

The last time I stopped, I reached this state of mind at around 9 weeks, I am very surprised to see this now :) may this is it! This will be my last attempt :)

So, for my daily update....had a massive migraine all day,had to leave the office just after lunch because could not stand the pain in my head...so went home and slept for the most of the afternoon. I'm still very bad but a bit better than in the morning. I DID NOT SMOKE and I am counting the days for March so I can start saying "I'm on my 2nd month" oh yeah! it does feel good :) nite nite guys ! stay smoke free!
