Have been to the funeral of a very dear uncle today, have had a lot to do with him and his family all of my life (his daughter is my best friend, as well as my cousin).
Most of my cousins were there and my big brother too, 95% of the people there are smokers and at times congregated outside for a smoke. Not once did I feel I was missing out, or have the urge to join them, I now have realised in the time since he died that I really am a non smoker, as this would have driven me straight back to cigs in the past.

Sorry to hear about the sad loss of your uncle. Funerals are always difficult.
Pleased, however, to hear you were able to get through the day without giving cigs any head space at all :). Well done you.

Well done Angela, I had to do the same this time last year as I lost my cousin on Christmas day 2012 and my uncle boxing day 2012, just awful and like you I didn't have a cig, although I do know that it did cross my mind I think you can safely say you are a non smoker now as I am too. Well done us I say

Aww I'm really sorry about your uncle, it must have been a horrible day for you.
But, a massive well doen for getting through it, not only without smoking, but without feeling like you're missing out - that is brilliant!!
You're definitely a total non-smoker now and that is excellent, am so jealous!!
