Hi Everyone, I'm a newbie. Just joined and REALLY wanting to try and stop tomorrow. Not sure how to navigate around this site yet? Any help is gratefully received. I'm worried about all the suppressed emotions that may come to the surface when I stop as I know I have used cigarettes to suppress stuff and they have become my 'safety net'. I fear I will feel incredibly 'exposed' and wonder if anyone has suggestions or personal experience of this??
Many thanks

And yep, we're all a bit bonkers. But hey, if you're going to make a conscious choice to improve your life and get rid of smoking, then you can also make a conscious choice to try and enjoy the journey. After all, if you have to do something, then it's better done with a smile, right?
Hi Magella, and welcome to the forum! Glad you dipped your toe into the water and posted, navigation is pretty easy, have a nosey mooch around for a bit. Let us know how it goes tomorrow, the Day 1 room is appropriate for a posting or two, and you'll have plenty of companions on this journey for sure!
