Congratulations Hun.

6 months down and as you have said "Halfway to the Penthouse".

Dont worry about the minor blips as you have got past that and shown Mr Nic where to go. Here's to the next 6 months :)

Thanks Everyone,

Not sure I am finding it as easy as some people - stress at work is still hard without running outside for one but hanging in there for now xx

I know what you mean. I still find it difficult sometimes, and don't yet feel that I 'never think of smoking' in the way that some people seem to after only a couple of weeks. But it isn't as hard as it used to be. And we have to keep on keeping on because the alternative - going back to being a smoker - is just unthinkable. And, needless to say, all the same stress would still be there.

You keep hanging in there RD, and be damn proud of yourself every time you resist, because really, whether you're quit six days or six months or six years, each day you go to bed free and clear is a victory.
