I am delighted to be celebrating a few milestones this week... today it is 11 weeks since I stopped smoking - and it would have been the last day of my Champix course had I not stopped them myself almost 6 weeks ago!
2 days ago it was day 75 - and at the same time it was £300 saved and 1500 cigarettes not smoked.
Anyway - Today I went to Norwich (The nearest city) and battled traffic and shop crowds to complete my Christmas shopping
(I do the same every year - book the last week in November off work, do the DIY that needs doing so I can relax at Christmas and do all the shopping in one go)
I hate shopping, so to do it all in one day and do it all without smoking is actually quite a big deal - but the truth is it was easy and I didn't even think about it until I was thinking about what to write here.

Traceeeeeeeeeeee (how many e's should there be?), it's a pleasure to help people in a small way - a little advice based on reading or personal experience can go a long way. I know this because it helped me, and continues to help me as I read and continue to educate myself against this addiction.... I will not be beaten
Anyway, on a more cheerful note - in less than 4 weeks I shall be celebrating my first smoke free Christmas since I was 11... yes, really! That really does feel like a massive achievement!
I love my new life, so thank you all for helping me to achieve it.
You will, as will everyone. I did a little deal with the devil (Our own Nicfirth, no less) that when I do my little dance to celebrate a year I shall put it on Youtube

Gives me even more incentive to stay around for your year long quit.
I'll only be a month behind you (she hopes)
Am I being stalked?
I do hope so!
Oh, and don't hope to make the penthouse - you will make it if you want to. You're doing great, and as long as you keep your mindset there will be no problem. Education is not a one time thing - its continuous

Probably me, to be honest - I am naturally sarcastic and the humour doesn't always come across very well.
Sorry.
Anyway, it seems my "Goodbye" or "I'm not going to be around much" post was premature - I am finding it harder than I expected to blend into the shadows, so although I really am not on here as much as I used to be.... I am still here more than I expected to be if that makes sense
12 weeks tomorrow ... Really very pleased with things at the moment, going several days at a time without even the mildest pang.... things couldn't be better :D
3 luna months that's a very respectable quittage, but still room for improvement
