Double Hit NHL

[Am-I-Healed]

Has anyone here been diagnosed with Double Hit Non Hodgkins Lymphoma? I was told I have that when I was diagnosed with Stage 4 NHL 3 years ago. I have been through 2 occurrences of the condition and am wondering how others have been doing.

I have Mantel Cel NHL. Mine was stage IV and told no cure, but can get into remission. I am in remission now, but have that fear in back of mine always.... I hope your can get treatment and back into remission...

I'm in my second remission, was given 2 months to 2 years and I'm in year 3, so doing well so far!

That is good news... I hope you stay well. I am fatigued and appetite still not good. I have neuropathy in feet really bad. Last treatment was July 24. I have to keep my port until 2018. See Oncology Dr. in Jan for blood work and "talk" about port removal. We just keep on doing what we can to stay well. Wishing you the best...

I am in remission for 5 months this time, last time it was a year. I suspect I will always have the fatigue and appetite issues, a small price to pay for life itself. I'm so sorry about your neuropathy

I have no intention of having my port removed until I'm cancer-free for 5 years. It doesn't bother me, and I just go in every 6 weeks to have it flushed, no problem.

I have had RCHop and then rituxin every 3 months. 2 years 3 months total and so last month last treatment. I tried 5 wks one time for flushing and my port didn't work. so will go monthly. i go back end of Jan. 2018 for blood work. keep on, keeping on..

They called mine stage 4 as my lymph nodes had it on my left and right side it will be five years this December I am in remission

What is Double Hit Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. I have experienced two sub-types at the same time. If that constitutes double hit, then I guess I can say I have had it.

Double Hit means that you have 2 mutated genes. I'm sorry about your having 2 lymphomas, are you in treatment right now?
