Belatacept while traveling

Hello. I am currently taking Belatacept. I live near Tampa, and that is where I get my monthly infusion. I have the opportunity to go to Asheville for two months in the fall. Has anyone ever gotten Belatacept while traveling and not at their home site. I’d rather not travel all the way back to Florida and then back to NC if I didn’t have to. Many thanks.

Hi Olderflower - I have not gotten an infusion while traveling. However, there is a Palmetto Infusion Center in Arden NC, which is about 18 miles from Asheville. I get my Bela infusions at another Palmetto location. Best wishes to you.

You have too go through your infusion team. They will make all the arrangements. That is what I did....
